I also have the Upromise credit card and use that primarily when shopping and pay it off each month. My husband also has a card which links to my account. I have not used the eCoupons yet, but add them to my card just in case I find a sale and might want to get them. Now, I have to convince my husband to download the Upromise toolbar so he does not miss out on free savings and we will be all set!!! I have a Upromise account and two loans. My loan is through Nelnet and you cannot link to it. I was able to request a check from Upromise and there is a form you can print out on their site to do this. If the amount is over $200.00, I believe, you have to have a notary verify who you are and stamp and date it. I requested $245.00 and had the girl at the bank verify who I was as she is a notary. Most banks have a notary. If the amount is under $200.00 you can just request the check without the notary. I think they said they will mail out checks up to four times a year or each quarter if you request one. Personally, I waited until my total built up some to add a nice chunk to my loan payment. It took some time for the check to come in the mail (I think it stated how many weeks it would take), but was a simple process. Go to your Upromise Account. Hover over "Pay for College" then click on Upromise Loan Link. You can then link to your Sallie Mae Loan Account. So if you have your loan with someone else, you may not be able to do it...(is there even anyone else?) It says it will take 5 days to verify.
