Here’s a delicious recipe that can also be made as a side dish without the chicken! (My prices are based on the awesome rock bottom deals I get!)
Creamy Corn Casserole with Chicken
- 2 cups cooked boneless chicken breasts chopped ($4)
- 1 Frozen Package of Corn (for me free since I used Grandpa’s corn we froze!) ($1)
- I Package of Cream Cheese ($1)
- 2 Tablespoons of Butter (.50)
- Salt & Pepper to Taste (.10)
Throw it all in the crockpot and cook for 3-4 hours on high or 5-6 hours on low. After about 30-45 minutes, you will want to stir the cream cheese in the recipe! Top with bread crumbs, corn flakes if you want to make it a little crunchy! Approximately $6.60 for this meal!
Now share one of your favorite meals under $10! (This is not required but it would be mighty nice if you would please link back encouraging others to participate in Tuesday Meals Under $10.)
