Super Doubles from K-mart are back! I’m currently working out some deals and going to try them tomorrow and will report back tomorrow fully on a list to use to maximize the Super Double days at K-mart.

Here’s a few rules:

• Coupon doubling cannot exceed price of item.
• No cash or instore credit awarded for any amt. exceeding retail price of item.
• Limit 1 coupon per item. (DOH!)
• Only 1 coupon doubled per item. (Which is kind of confusing with the next one…)
• Can only purchase 4 of the same items using double coupons. (I’m thinking you can use 4 different coupons for 4 items but they won’t double 2 of the same coupon for the same item???)
• Excludes Buy 1 Get 1 Free Offers.
• Does not apply to sales tax.
• Limit 75 coupons per customer per day.
• Internet coupons or copied manufacturer coupons not valid.
• Excludes items limited by law – including alcohol, tobacco, and prescription medication.
• Not valid on non-merchandise, federal or state regulated items, prior purchases, Land’s End, Sears merchandise rung on Sear registers within Kmart and kmart.com.
• If you return an item, coupon amount may be deducted from refund.

I haven’t hardcore CVSed for awhile but the deals were too good to resist this week! I did mess up a couple of deals – Crest Toothpaste – thought it was any Pro-Health but just whitening, bought the wrong Hershey’s, and some of the Extra Bucks didn’t print, which was fixed by a manual printing of Extra Bucks. Still, I ended up with over $125 worth of goodies for $8.86. Over 92% savings – but paid for it all with a gift card earned from a new prescription AND have over $30 in Extra Bucks to roll!!!! 5 transactions total – of which the first two were not easy because the system was down and nothing was ringing up right or printing out right! Ack! However, I had a great cashier at a new CVS in a neighboring town and it was smoothly even though it took a little extra time. There is still time to do these deals tonight if your store has product left! My local store had almost everything left yesterday which was suprising!

This is just horrible – not the Christmas Spirit at all – completely out of control. If you haven’t heard, a Walmart worker was killed today in a stampede when 2,000 customers stormed the door. While he lay gasping for breath, people still continued to walk over him. How sad and just plain horrible. Those responsible should be prosecuted to the fullest extent. This quote says it all: “Oh yes, they’re savages,” Cribbs said.

This is one of the many reasons we didn’t get up early…we waited to go out until about 8:30am. Deals were still good for the items we needed and we didn’t have to deal with the crazy mobs.
