I have an external hard drive, but I bought it before Vista, so it keeps crashing my laptop, but works great on my desktop. So, I'm getting a new external hard drive for Christmas to make sure I have everything backed up. Our furnace went out over Thanksgiving...so we came home to a cold house. We were lucky that it was just the ignition panel that needed to be replaced (only $127), but I'm waiting for the next thing to break on it, since it's 20 years old.
