5 Jenny F July 3, 2009 at 8:21 pm: I must admit that I do not have children yet (my first boy is due Nov.21!), but I have a Nintendo Wii that I play often with my 2 brothers-in-law. We love playing it! They do not have one at home, so when they come to my home that is the first thing they want to do! My husband and I do not get a lot of “fun” time with the boys, and this is their chance to play some fun games with their brother. They really enjoy kicking our butts at Mario Party! That time we spend with them is so important to us because in a few short years they will be in high school, not wanting to do anything with us! We cherish every moment, even if they are winning!

It is really fast paced so it is hard for us “older” people to keep up. In contrast, the kids seemed to get the hang of the game rather quickly.”

Our two year old “joins” in as well – we’ve given him a remote without batteries, so he thinks he’s playing, but won’t turn off the game!
