Amazon is offering a FREE download for the new Kindle program for your PC. Currently, it only works with Windows 7, Vista, and XP. I use the FREE Kindle App on my iPhone and my daughter recently started using the one on our iPod touch. I love it! I know some people want the pages in their hands and I thought I would miss it too. However, it is so handy to have a book with me at all times.

There are also numerous FREE Kindle book downloads on Amazon. I was pleasantly surprised to see some new FREE Kindle downloads. These change often so you have to check back to see what is offered. I’ve found quite a few new authors I enjoy through the free downloads.

The only thing I don’t want to read on my Kindle is reference type books or cookbooks at least with iPhone/iPod Touch App.

I think Kindle is just one of those things you have to try even if you think you won’t like it!
