I love Amazon because they sell everything from perfume and handbags to books and drugstore items. Anything I can’t find in my local stores, I can usually find on Amazon.

The thing I don’t like about Amazon is that they can often be WAY overpriced. I remember price checking an item for my daughter and they were overpriced by at least $60 for that item! I do like that they carry groceries and flowers and toys and just about everything else you’ll need. Good variety. Just make sure you do some price checking so you know you’re not paying way more than you have to.

I love Amazon for their wide selection of products – all at good prices. OOh, i also love that you can make a personal wish list so that your friends and family don’t have to spend hours trying to figure out which books I want…I can just tell them!

“You can create or view registries in this section. Right now they have a baby registry deal going on (My thought on this is if you plan on buying some big ticket items on Amazon.com anyway, create a registry and then buy it through the registry!)”. You are indeed an Amazon expert. I had no idea there was so much to learn about Amazon. I had not known about the Gold Box deals or lightening deals (I do remember the “Blue light” specials!). The best way to make any money on Amazon is to save any possible texbooks and list them at the start of August or January. Then desperate students will pick your item over Amazon’s.

I’m a big fan of Amazon. We live in a small town with little shopping so we can either drive an hour away or order something online. Amazon’s super saver shipping is great. And I love the user reviews on products. They’ve helped tremendously when making a decision about what to purchase.

I enjoyed learning about amazon prime this time… I’ve always wondered if it was worth it. You’re right though, with the stuff my husband and I buy, and then adding kids (1st due in Jan), there’s no doubt we’ll get our money’s worth. And the oversize or large items that would normally cost plenty extra… a crib comes to mind! Will think of signing up on Jan. 1 to get the full years worth. Thanks for giving us your experience with Amazon Prime.
