As deals come up, I add to my stock pile. I also save anything worthwhile when the kids bring their supplies home. Then, when I get the new lists at the beginning of the summer, I re-pack their backpacks and make a list of what I might be missing. For example, breakfast needs to be eaten by 9AM. Child A may get up at 7AM and eat breakfast, while child B waits until 8:30AM.
