I drive by CVS/pharmacy several times a day so it’s only natural it would be one of my favorite places to shop! Out of necessity and because I find great deals and a wide selection of products in the stores. I love my ECBs! If you are new to CVS/pharmacy, ECBs stand for Extra Care Bucks which are like gold, I tell ya!

Not only does CVS have great deals, they also are working hard to encourage customers on their path to better health. This includes the new ExtraCare Pharmacy & Health Rewards program that rewards customers for the little things they do to stay healthy. I’ve listed a few tips courtesy of CVS/pharmacy.

Easy Health Tips that Can Make a Big Difference:

  • Keep an exercise/food journal to keep track of your daily activities and progress on your road to better health. If you are into apps, MyFitnessPal is a FREE app that helps you track your exercise and food!
  • Take a daily multi-vitamin to help boost your immune system and fill in any nutritional holes in your diet.
  • Wash your hands frequently and use hand sanitizer to combat germs.
  • Keep a first-aid kit handy at home and in your car, especially when out and about with kids.
  • Drink A LOT of water – being hydrated not only contributes to better overall health but also skin health.
  • Wear moisturizing products with SPF, and instead of laying out in the sun, use a tinted moisturizer with SPF for a healthy glow.
  • Don’t forget to pamper yourself! Scrubs, masks and other fun products can help you recharge and ease stress.
  • Make sure to follow your Doctor’s orders when it comes to taking any prescriptions and be sure to ask your Doctor or pharmacist any questions you may have about medication instructions. It’s important to refill accordingly, take medication as directed and complete the prescribed regimen for effective results. I’m excited to be partnering with ALDI and Marcy of Stretching a Buck to host a awesome ALDI Summer Twitter Party on Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 8 – 9 p.m. EST.  We will be sharing tips on how to have fun this summer while saving money!  ALDI has everything you need to have fun, relax & save money this summer. You can view the ALDI summer catalog, recipes, and other summer tips here.

{Gone} To kick this party off before it even starts we have a little pre-party fun with a $10 ALDI gift certificate giveaway so you can try some of the summer suggestions before the party.
