Couldn’t figure out how to contact Briana so I am posting here…there are 2 things I noticed in the sample transactions that will NOT work….first being transaction #2, it’s only $.48 OOP if you buy 1 not 2 as stated. If you buy 2, OOP $2.40!!! Second is in regards to the Skintimate Shave Cream, you will only get $3.49 ECBs if you buy 3 cans, not one as listed in transaction #3. Now, I have only been doing this for a month or so and if I am wrong, please, please correct me. Happy Easter!! Happy Passover too!!

First of all – thanks for this blog!

Question – at CVS if it’s BOGO – do you have to get 2? Or can you buy just one for half off? Thanks!

Tracey – per above – the skintimate shave gel – per the flyer – is buy 1 at $3.49 and get $3.49 ECB’s back. I think the above post had a typo in it:)

Allisons last blog post..Episode 39 And just WHERE have you BEEN, young lady?

  • Michelle - April 05, 2009 @ 4:13 pm 3
Hate to be a buzzkill, but the Glade BOGO coupon from the 3/15 SS specifies “excludes Air Infusions.”
  • Bargain Briana - April 05, 2009 @ 6:57 pm 4
Tracy – the buy (2) in transaction #2 was a typo. Sorry about that.

The skinimate shave gel is buy 1 at $3.49, Get $3.49 in Extra Bucks = Free. It is on page 15 of the ad and again another typo! (this is what happens when I work on my deals late at night! I apologize!)

Allison – At CVS you have to buy 2 to get the sale from my experience.

Michelle – Thanks! I’ve corrected that!

Thanks Briana! I love your posts and being as I am new, it really helps me figure out how to get the best deals!! Thank you for all the work you do, I know it’s alot.

And thanks Allison for fixing the shave gel, now I will have to go get some…LOL!

I have a coupon from Kroger My Magazine for $2 off 3 12-pks of Coke. It says it’s a manufacturer’s coupon and doesn’t say “only good at Kroger,” but it does have the Kroger logo on it. Is it legit to use that at CVS or Walgreens? I’ve gotten various answers from the different stores but wondered if you knew what the “official” answer to that was. Thanks!
