
This is a easy recipe for a quick Mexican side dish.
Serve with your favorite Mexican dish or add ground beef or soy crumbles for a complete meal.
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups water
- 8 oz tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons Taco Seasoning
- 1.5 instant white rice
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, colby jack, or mexican)
Instructions
- Bring tomato sauce, water, and taco seasoning to a boil.
- Remove from heat.
- Add rice.
- Cover and let sit for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the cheese.
