FREE Comic Book Day 5/2

free comic book 193x300 FREE Comic Book Day 5/2 May 2, 2009 is FREE Comic Book Day. Visit a participating retailer and you will receive a FREE Comic book from this list.

This happens the first Saturday in May every year and is only at participating Comic Book shops. In my area, it looks like mostly specialty shops are participating. You can read an entire list of FAQs on freecomicbookday.com.

It may not qualify for the Barnes & Nobles Summer Reading program (or maybe they will!) but if comic books get your child reading something, I’m all for it!
