FREE Kindle Books from Amazon

If you're new here, you may want to have these bargains delivered right to your email or subscribe via RSS feed. If you are new to couponing, check out my series the "15 days of Couponing." Thanks for visiting!

Even if you don’t have a Kindle, if you have an iPod Touch or iPhone, you can take advantage of the Amazon Kindle Reader Application. Personally, since I have the App, I doubt I will ever buy a real Kindle because I don’t need another electronic device to carry around. So I will be happy to read on my iPhone/iPod Touch.

Over Labor Day weekend, I finished the first book in the Harper Connelly Series by Charlaine Harris and wanted to read the second book desperately.  I was able to download the App and enjoy the book almost instantly and at a discounted price for the paperback edition.

I’m a huge reader and I actually like reading from my iPod better than an actuall book because it keeps my page marked and I can read it hands free while I’m drying my hair! :) Plus, I always have it with me.  The only drawback is I don’t feel comfortable taking a long hot bath!

Onto the best part, right now, Amazon is offering numerous  Free Downloads for Kindle if you want to try a few books out on your device. (Thanks, Hey it Is Free!)

Let me know what you think!

I love it too! I got Pride and Prejudice and Northanger Abbey on my iPod touch for free. I love being able to read on it. I can’t wait to find more great freebies or cheap books! ;)

Oh, thanks. I love the app too. I have a nice collection of free books but I keep forgetting to go back and check more often
