I am not a happy person with Amazon and the Kindle mine is only a little past the warranty period and no longer works they are not repairable . MY cost was 189.00 for the kindle and 24.95 for the leather cover plus 127 books that I cannot read now . They offered to replace the bad unit if I gave them an additional 85.00 dollars . The extended warranty cost over 50.00 not a bargain in anybook that i can see so thye can give away all the free things they want to Amazon will not get any more of my money.

That stinks. I’ve had mine for over two years with no issues. Sorry to hear that you had an issue. You can still read books on the Kindle Apps for your PC, Mac, and other devices for free.

I have big issueswith the ‘free’ book downloads. I do not have a Kindle or any other Kindle device but I have completed the download for my PC. Downloading the books still does NOT work!?!?!
I know I have completed the downloads asthey are on my computer!!!

    Any suggestions???

I know you do alot of work to compile all of these money saving ideas but so far, I haven’t saved a DIME!!! I am beginning to wonder if it is worth my time to read the daily ‘bargains’ when I could be doing something more productive with my time!!!

Did you download the Kindle Reader on your PC? You might check the FAQ over at Amazon. I’ve never had an issue not being able to read the books on the Kindle App for the PC or any of the other devices.
