Free Kitty Food at Walmart w/Coupon
by Briana Carter on March 9, 2009
If you don’t have a kitten and are at Walmart anyway, you may consider picking up a bag or two with your coupons and donating them to your local Humane Society or other Animal Rescue Mission. This is a great way to pay your coupons forward.
Iams 2 lb ProActive Health Kitten Food $4.87
Use $5/1 any Iams Kitten Food from 3-1 P&G Insert

They do not seem to have any of the 2 lb bags in the walmarts near me. the next size up was $8.49 but there was a coupon for a mail-in rebate from P&G for a $15.00 gas card with a $40.00 dollar purchase and Iams brand was listed as one of the eligible products. I got 5 bags @ $8.49 each minus the 5 coupons for $5.00 off came to @17.45 and sent for the $15.00 gas card. Hope it comes.there was a phone number on the slip for the promotions helpline 1-866-538-5230. I found the coupon posted in Price Chopper near qualifying product displays.
I was refused using the $5.00 off Iams kitten food last night because the product was less than the coupon ($4.87). The supervisor said they are not supposed to accept any coupon more than the product cost. This is the first time this has happened at Wal-mart as I have gotten several things free with an overage before. Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks :D
Glad I saw this. I don’t even have a cat but you can bet our 2 chihuahua’s will be happy to donate alot of free bags(thanks to their clipping-crazy mom)to our shelter too!
Thanks for the tip today :)
Thank you so much for pointing this out. Even though I do not have pets, I’m willing to help someone else out,and the Animal Shelter was a great suggestion! And its even better that I can help for FREE!
P.S. I love you site! keep up the GREAT work.
