Last year I told you about my favorite FREE (of course!) personal finance software called Mint.com. It is absolutely perfect for people like me, who don’t have time to manually track my personal finances.
Basically, you just enter in your user name and passwords for your credit/savings/banking/mortgage accounts, anything that is supported by the Mint system. The Mint engines will then pull all your balances, payment due dates, transactions into one easy to monitor website.
Even better, there are iPod/iPhone and Android apps so you can track your finances on the go.
Many people have commented that they are unsure of having all of their information in one place.
Mint says:
We use the same security practices as major US financial institutions. No one can move money on Mint.com. Plus, we monitor all your accounts 24/7 and alert you to any suspicious charges.
Do you use Mint? Has it helped you with your personal finances?

Definitely use Mint – we love that it connects with over 16,000 financial institutions. I think it even got better after it took over Quicken Online. The best is that you can use it on your iPhone to keep track of expenses while you’re out. I’d certainly recommend it to others.

I am so glad you posted this. I tried to use mint.com before, but they didn’t work with my bank. I just checked again and now they include my bank so I signed up. Thanks
