I know it sounds boring but we are saving up to buy a house so I’d probably save it until we got the house and then use it for paint. I know I know paint sounds boring but I’ve always rented so the white walls have driven me crazy. One of the things that I’m most excited about for when we get a new house is being able to pick out paint colors!

That’s easy! I just moved into a new (and I stress) “small” apartment and am desperate for a new desk. I would use the gift card to buy a christmas tree. lights and decorations. I am recently divorced and have nothing. Starting over is hard and expensive. Can’t afford just a tree let alone the decorations.
If I won, I would give this to my father who so tireslessly gives his time to us to help us with our projects around the house. He has so many years of expertise in carpentry and remodeling we could never have afforded to hire someone to help us complete these tasks. I would put this gift card towards a nice camcorder for our family…we have been saying that we would love to video tape all our Christmas traditions and get-togethers so that we could send them to my sister in Ireland…this is our first Christmas without a member of the family here.

What a BIG BLESSING this would be. I am on a very Limited budget. I think I’d see what they had that my kids would like. They are grown ups so they’d probably like something from Home Depot. My son would love a power tool set and my daughter always is borrowing her dads drill to hang stuff up with. This is an amazing giveaway for me, because I’m in the middle of remodeling and go to Home Depot all the time! What a great help this would be. The first thing we would buy would probably be lumber, and maybe some cement from the driveway…an example might be the 94 Lb. Hubby is the hardest person to buy for when it comes to gifts.
This would be the perfect thing because there are many tools and items that he would love to purchase but because of the economy he hasn’t been able to. This would enable us to purchase the paint for the inside of the house where we have lived for 10 yrs and are just now wanting to change things up.

our new house has carpet in the bathrooms! i can’t tell you how eager I am to rip it out and put in tile. we are going to use the money for tile, tile cutter, grout etc..
