Home Depot Kid’s Workshop: Build a School Bus Pencil Organizer on 8/7

Home Depot is having a FREE workshop on Saturday, August 7, 2010 from 9am – noon at all Home Depot locations. These workshops are designed for kids ages 5-12 so keep that in mind.

Your child will build a School Bus Pencil Organizer similar to the one pictured above as well as receiving a kid’s sized orange apron and an achievement pin.

The Home Depot holds these FREE Kid’s Workshops the first Saturday of every month with a variety of projects. What a fun and inexpensive way to stretch your entertaining budget with your children!

    I think that what Home Depot and Lowe’s is doing for the kids is wonderful. I have been taking my grand kids to them and they love going there. They are supposed to give them a apron and certificate when you finish them, but each time that we have gone, they have been out of them.
