Hey Hoosiers, grab your fishing poles! During FREE Fishing Weekend this June 6th & 7th, adults do not need a license to fish in Indiana’s public waters! Children under the age of 17 do not need a fishing license at anytime.

Many recreation areas around Indiana are planning FUN fishing derbies, casting clinics, fish cleaning, and cooking classes! ALL FREE! You will want to check with your favorite property for more details and see if they are requiring pre-registration.

DNR notes that while no fishing license is required to fish public waters, all other fishing regulations are still in effect!
