    Thanks for the tip. However I just printed out the coupon today but it is already past the expiration date. The coupon says Expires: 1/29/2010

    What is going on?

    Rec’d @ 10 pm EST after I sent a letter to them about the coupon having VOID on it and being expired:

    At Long John Silver’s Customer Support, we received your comments today.

    Currently we are reevaluating our marketing strategies, media placements and coupon activity. There is a chance that a new form of coupon offer will be posted on the web site, so please be patient as we evaluate usage, frequency and redemption. In the interim, we will continue to periodically distribute coupons via direct mail, free standing newspaper inserts and other print media. As always, our senior citizen customers get a discount of 10% off their purchase.

    Gift Certificates may be purchased from most Long John Silver’s restaurants. You can also purchase them directly from YUM Brand Fulfillment Services by calling 888-804-4438. Unfortunately, if gift certificates or survey vouchers are lost, Long John Silver’s cannot be responsible for replacing them.

    Our desire is to ensure Long John Silver’s remains your choice for fresh and affordable fish, chicken, and seafood.

    Jeff and Lady Di,

    We were in the midst of making a change to a coupon while the site was live which caused a glitch in the system that lasted for less than an hour. The bug has been since been fixed and you should have received a communication through either Twitter or Facebook. We are very sorry for the inconvenience and hope you both enjoy the New Crispy Breaded Fish!
