Arm & Hammer Essentials up to $3.50 Exp. 12/15/2008

A few mail in rebate tips:

1. Make sure you follow the rebate and attach all supporting documentation requested. Most want the original receipt, the UPC (or in some cases you just have to write the UPC on the form), form completed.

2. I like to use the free mailing labels I get in the mail from various organization and just stick them on the rebate form. This way I know it is legible and easy to read.

3. Make a copy or a scan of your information.

4. Use a tracker such as Rebate Tracker to keep track of your mail in rebates. A simple excel spreadsheet or notebook would also work! (I like to track the date I mailed, address of rebate, and the amount.)

5. Most rebates limit one per household for the rebate. However, sometimes there will be multiple rebates out there for the same product. If the rebate form has a different PO Box, then you can still qualify for both rebates!

I’ve heard people say they hate mail in rebates. I don’t love them but I will do them. Especially if I use a coupon for the product or extra care bucks to buy it! I don’t mess around with anything under $2, not worth my time or postage! Sometimes you can turn a free after mail in rebate into a major money maker!
