As part of the 2013 goals and resolutions, I’m working on cooking with ingredients we already have on hand in our pantry and freezer. I haven’t done a Meal Plan Monday post in years (March 15, 2009 to be specific) and thought I’d start back up! However, instead of telling you what we are going to eat for the week, I’m going to tell you what I cooked last week. Otherwise, it’s just a little much when people we personally know tell the kids what we are having for dinner and it’s too much pressure to stick to that schedule!
Monday: Leftover Orange Glazed Temph & Pizza Balls
Tuesday: Pecan Crusted Honey Dijon Chicken & Garlic Mashed Potatoes (Freezer Meals from Fix, Freeze, Feast cookbook)
Wednesday: Spaghetti & Meatballs (Meatballs from previous freezer cooking day and crockpot spaghetti sauce)
Thursday: Our local Asian take-out restaurant sounded so good so it was Main Moon for us! :)
Friday: Pepperjack Burritos (freezer meal from Not Your Mother’s Make Ahead & Freeze Cookbook ) and leftovers
Saturday: Frozen Pizza/Noodles & Company for the adults
Sunday: Free for all. Leftovers and whatever else you can find! Littlest one and I had a cast party dinner for the community theater production she was in!
Breakfast: Oatmeal (homemade packets from Not Your Mother’s Make Ahead & Freeze Cookbook ), blueberry muffins (from Not Your Mother’s Make Ahead & Freeze Cookbook ), cereal, bacon, and doughnuts that the kids brought home.
