All I can think is they are rewarding those who subscribe since Newspapers get more ad money usually based on fixed subscribers???

Yes, I've also noticed the difference between two regional papers. One has way more coupons but I like the other Sunday paper for more local stories...so I still do both papers but I get better coupons in one of them. the other does occasionally have coupons the other doesn't. It is so biazarre!

Briana - I have been wondering about this difference for awhile now!

I began buying the paper at the 7-11 a block away and was confused (and frustrated) about why I couldn't find many of the coupons listed on the Grocery Gathering. I just figured it was because I lived in a different area of the country. BUT, then I began to subscribe to the local paper and the delivered paper had <em>twice<em> as many coupons!!

I don't know if I agree with this concept... We are (usually) paying less for a subscription, so why does a paper you purchase in the store have less coupons/inserts?!
