I was able to breast feed my first three, then supplement with formula as they grew older, always using the expensive stuff, till I found the Sam's stuff (same as PC I think?). I actually bought both, sat down and did a side by side comparison of the ingredients, the WHOLE list, including amounts, and they were identical to the Enfamil I had always used. My son was almost done with formula by that time, but when #'s 4 and 5 came along, I was unable to breastfeed due to high bp, and these last two were fed with Sam's choice exclusively. No allergy problems, nothing. I am a huge proponent of breastfeeding (I even do consulting), but if you can't, you can't, and why should you break the bank when you can get the exact same stuff for less than half the price. EXACTLY the same.

Just yesterday, I got twice as much Parents Choice formula than Similac (the cheapest "brand" on the shelf) for the same price. Yeah!!!

I recently switched my baby from exclusive breast milk to formula and part of the reason it was hard for me was because of the cost of formula. My best friend was able to compare Sam's Club Member's Mark formula to the national brands and found it to be the exact same ingredients for about half the price. I am amazed that even with coupons I cannot beat the price of Member's Mark and am thankful my daughter has not shown a preference for a particular brand or type of formula.
