Save-A-Lot: Sign up for the Smart Shopper Club and Save $5
by Briana Carter on July 1, 2009
Sign up for Save-A-Lot’s Smart Shopper Club and you will receive a $5 instant online coupon. Use it at any participating Save-A-Lot store! Totally random but while waiting for my flight yesterday I met a gentleman who does business with Save-A-Lot. I’ve never shopped there before but it is a store I’m going to have to try out.
My readers tell me that they have name brand items as well as private brand labels. You can also use manufacturer’s coupons!
Thanks Money Saving Madness!

How do I get the $5 instant coupon ? Love to shop at Sav-a-lot stores, the bargains are many.
They are much cheaper that Walmart and the service is greta.
SAVE-A-LOT IS THE BEST STORE I HAVE EVER SHOP AT, YOU HAVE MY VOTE THAT’S FOR SURE. MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL
I tried about 10 of the save-a-lot web sites before I went to a different browser and found the sign-up for your smart shopper club. How do I print the $5.00 off coupon? I can find it and there are no instructions on houw to even view it let alone print. I’m extremely disappointed and would rather pay higher prices at other grocery stores than go through this frustration. Please remove my name and anything related to me from your files.
I like the low prices and the clean store and large asile there and also the polite help that work there
I really like shopping at save-a-lot; however, I find your website difficult to use.
save a lot is great and has lots of great deals
I shop there on occasion, they have really improved their national brands selection BUT don’t go in there looking for any specific brand all the time. Their brand of foods taste really good, step outside the national brands box. Thanks for the coupon, now that I signed up for the newsletter I’ll be reminded to go there more often!
I actually started shopping there a couple months ago. Just in the past six months their variety has expanded greatly. I personally think that they are cheaper than Walmart, especially for the basics.
Thanks so much! Like I said, I’ve never shopped there before and didn’t know all that information! Great to know! :)
I think they are like that everywhere. They don’t normally list sale ads, you have to just keep checking back. Thanks for the coupon!
Just an FYI they have a few, although not many, national brands and they accept manufacturer’s coupons. They often have a few good promos, but you have to watch for them because at least in my area there isn’t always a weekly sales ad. They aren’t always any cheaper than a bigger store, like Walmart.
