Eden – Have you tried the professional line from Suave for hair products or just the regular line? The professional line is MUCH different! The regular line is what I let the kids use or I use the coconut when I want to feel tropical….The professional line is what I’ve reviewed! :) Just wanted to make sure you know that there is two different lines!

I agree with DebbieLynn. I only get shampoo when I get it for free these days (because I have WAY too much around here already.) So whether it is Suave or Pantene, I always get it if its free – & don’t if it’s not. I will use either.

I do have my preference though. I have noticed that both VO5 & Suave are not as nice as other more expensive brands. If I have other free brands of shampoo & Suave for free, I will pick out the other brands to use next. Not Suave.

I guess what I am saying is no, its not a big one on my list, but in the end, if I didn’t get any nicer shampoos for free normally, I wouldn’t have a problem just going with the cheapest kind & getting Suave.

DebbieLynne – Yes, I usually shop CVS & Walgreens to get the more expensive cheap! The best deal I’ve seen though is usually Spend $15, Get $5 back or something like that…so you can still save if you have a brand preference. You just have to be a little more patient.

Normally, my favorite more expensive brands are Pantene (I consider it more expensive!) and Biolage. Tried an Biolage copycat from Sally’s and it was horrible. I only use the Biolage if I get it as a gift!

I should note my hair is pretty manageable and I used to use VO5 and would always get compliments on the shine! I was impresssed with the new line from Suave too. It is their “professional” line but it still very inexpensive. Meijer & Kroger had Suave products on sale about 2 weeks ago and I stocked up!

When you shop at CVS and Walgreens you can usually get the high end brands at a deal so the price of Suave isn’t really a factor for me. I will try any brand that is free though!

I am extremely picky when it comes to my hair, in fact, I've been known to spend $50 a bottle of shampoo & conditioner. I got to try this a while back and was VERY happy with the results. VERY! My hair felt so soft and shiny and I didn't even need my regular frizz serum either. I have to say, I was extremely surprised because, to be honest, I have never liked the old Suave products.
