Here's something I bet you didn't know. Kroger Personal Finance offers affordable Pet Insurance for your loved furry friend. I wasn't aware until Kroger emailed me to ask if I wanted to share this information with my readers.

To many people, their pet IS a member of their family. So when their pet gets injured or sick, pet owners are willing to pay a hefty price to keep their beloved pet. I've heard the stories from friends and family of the costs of getting their pet healthy again. It's not cheap at all and can put families in debt.

There is now an affordable options for pet owners right at the checkout lanes of the nation's largest traditional grocery store, Kroger. Instead of waiting for unexpected expenses, you can now budget a monthly insurance policy which can cover accidents and illnesses as well as routine care for your cats or dogs. The price ranges from $9.95 – $79.00 a month.

We don't currently have a pet. But if we did, I would like the peace of mind that paying an upfront monthly fee for the healthcare of my pet would provide instead of having to make a tough decision on my pet's health care needs based on the funds available at that moment.

Seed+ offers soothing lotions, moisturizing soaps, and unique (seriously!) shampoo bars, which are enriched with nutrient rich grape seed byproducts. They are packed with ingredients shown to promote healthy skin and help premature aging such as , power antioxidants, Vitaman E, and essential fatty acids. A Shampoo bar? Yes, Seed offers a shampoo bar. I've never heard or seen a shampoo bar, though I do know guys who use bar soap to wash their hair. I was happy when it lathered up with just a little dab of the soap. So I'm sure you would use less of the shampoo bar than you do of the liquid. You could use the shampoo bar instead of taking liquid shampoo with you on the plane if you are going on a trip. I did still have to apply conditioner because I like to get my hair very smooth. The exfoliating bar soap, really exfoliates. You can feel the grit on the soap which to me means it is doing its job. The Seed lotion lathered on nicely, though it is a little too lemony for my taste. Overall, I enjoyed these products! Recently, Save a Lot sent me a gift card to try out their store. I was able to get several really hot deals by printing out coupons from the Save a Lot website beforehand. I found Rice Krispies Cereal for $0.99 after coupon. Save a Lot carries manufacturer's products as well as their own private label. They do accept manufacturer's coupons which is an added bonus to their lower prices. You can also print out a $5 off $20 purchase coupon, which unfortunately I wasn't able to print before my shopping trip but it looks like it is working now. Save a Lot has recently announced their "Feed a Family of Four for Under $15" holiday special, which includes Sugardale Ham, sweet potatoes, Fresh Express Garden Salad Mix, Mrs. Smith's Pie, and more. Overall my experience was pleasant. The store wasn't too crowded, the cashier was very pleasant, and the store was clean. Mostly for me, it is a kind of out of the way location for me to shop at on a regular basis.
