How much do you spend on diapers? I’m not sure what I pay per pack but Babycheapskate gives a good example of the price per diaper you should try to beat. Prices on diapers have risen since March which that article was written, so give or take a few cents per diaper for more current pricing.
One of my readers/friend, Tabitha, pointed out there is a great deal going on at Diapers.com. They have a refer a friend deal going on, if you use her code at check out ( Referral Code: TAGR5736) you will get $10 off your first order $49 or more and she will get $1 every time you order! You can then invite your friends and get the same deal! (I’m using her referral instead of one for personal gain since she pointed out this deal!!! I’m nice to my readers like that! :) ) This is a great way for all of my readers to save!!! Keep reading for the math.
Let’s break it down to see if we will really save money at diapers.com:
Assume you want to get free shipping & the $10 off code. Find a way to spend just a little over $49. I’ll use Huggies (since they are my favorite & qualify for the Caregiver’s Marketplace rebate) & Size 4 (apparently they are the most popular size.
(1) Huggies Snug & Dry Jumbo Pack Size 4 @ $11.99 (40 ct.)
(1) Huggies Snug & Dry Extra Large Case Size 4 @ $39.99 (150 ct.)
Qualify for free shipping when you spend $49 +
Qualify for 1 year free subscription to Parenting Magazine.
- (2) $1.50/1 Huggies Coupon (from home mailer) you can mail your coupons into diapers.com
- $2 (both of these packages will qualify for the rebate through Caregiver’s Marketplace
- $10 off using TAGR5736 as a referral code
$36.98
divide that by 190 diapers
= .194/diaper
So you are under Baby Cheapskate’s per diaper price for size 4. :)
You also earned a free subscription (value $15.99)
I do find that a great deal! I’m a CVSer, though, so I usually use my ECBs to buy diapers. I do like that I wouldn’t have to step out of my house to get this deal! I’m hoping to be out of diapers soon, though! As I’m writing this, my 2 year old is telling me that she went potty at daycare today. I think she was sneaking a peek at my blog entry here. ;) (I think she actually recognized the Huggies picture on diapers.com.)
P.S. They have everything you would need for baby (formula, wipes, baby food, etc.) and they also sell cloth diapers if you cloth diaper.
Check out Does Mommy Love it’s Review on Diapers.com. She had a good experience and received her diapers within 2 days! She wasn’t sure how to use manufacturer’s coupons but someone from Diapers.com left a comment and told her how. (What great customer service – searching blogs!)
