LEGO Store Free Event: Build a Mini LEGO Hockey Player on 2/7

One day each month, you can build a cool LEGO mini model for FREE! For February, you can build a mini LEGO hockey player on February 7, 2012 starting at 5 p.m.

This offer is valid while supplies last and quantities are limited. A new model will be available each month and will be specially themed to that month. One free per child. Event is open to children aged 6 to 14 only. Check with your local LEGO store for dates and times as they may vary by location.

Home Depot Kid’s Workshop: Keepsake Box on 2/4

Home Depot is having a FREE workshop on Saturday, February 4, from 9am – noon at all Home Depot locations. These workshops are designed for kids ages 5-12 so keep that in mind.

Your child will build a Keepsake Box similar to the one pictured above as well as receiving a kid’s sized orange apron and an achievement pin.

The Home Depot holds these FREE Kid’s Workshops the first Saturday of every month with a variety of projects. What a fun and inexpensive way to stretch your entertaining budget with your children!

Toys ‘R Us LEGO Event on 2/4

Toys ‘R Us is having a LEGO event this weekend on Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 12 – 2 p.m.

Building is Better with Friends! Check out the brand new building craze and build a lemonade stand to add to any LEGO Friends set!
The LEGO Group will donate $1 for each stand built to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation to support the fight against childhood cancer.

Lowe’s Build and Grow Clinic: Build A Saurus: Build a Build – A – Saurus at the Lowe’s Build and Grow Clinic on Saturday, January 28 , from 10am – 11am. This does require registration online, which helps to see which stores are participating!
Lakeshore Learning Free Groundhog Puppet on 1/28: Every Saturday, Lake Shore Learning offers FREE Crafts for Kids from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This weekend your child can make a FREE Groundhog Puppet to enjoy the hopefully changing seasons.
