Free iTunes App: TripIt

TripIt is the best app I’ve found for tracking your trips and vacation plans. Simply forward your airline, hotel, car rental emails to the email address provided and it will add the information to your specified trips. I love that it also tracks the cost of these items. Everything seems to flow very well within the app and you can have it all within the app without having to have a binder full of trip information.

Sofia (5 almost 6) rates Easy Bake Cupcakes with 5 stars! No matter how many other apps she downloads, this is one of her favorite apps on our Apple products. This is the new way to have fun with EASY-BAKE, plus moms and dads don’t have to fake enjoying the nasty taste of the real Easy Bake Oven products! ;)

My Fitness Pal is the best FREE app I’ve found on the market for tracking your calories and workouts. I love that you can easily scan a barcode of a food product you wish to track and it will bring up the product. It also has a huge catalog of product including some of my favorite products from Aldi, which I was completely surprised were in the system.

If you haven’t heard of Temple Run, then you must have been isolated from the world for a few weeks! This hot new app is addicting and fun! If you wondered why my Walgreens deals were late a couple of weeks ago, uh, yeah, I was probably playing Temple Run all day long! Don’t download if you have ya know, things to do!

This one is fun for about all ages. I like this one as well as my kids from ages 7 – 13. We have a friendly little competition going on who can get the highest score. My oldest son, of course, spoiled it by finding a hack to get a unrealistic high score.

If your kids love LEGOs as much as mine do, they will have fun with these FREE iTunes apps. As a kid, my brother and I spent HOURS playing and creating fun towns with our LEGO sets. Back in the day, they only had the blocks, not these fancy sets like they do know.

LEGO Photo: Snap a picture of your LEGO creations then easily share with your social networking pages. This a great way to keep a log of all the cool creations your child creates.

Creationary: How quickly can you guess what is being built from LEGO bricks. The faster you guess which one of four categories the item being built is, the more points you will earn.

LEGO Duplo Farm Friends: This one is designed for toddlers and preschoolers aged 2 – 5. Each scene will entertain and teach your child about farm life from animal sounds to big farm machines.

LEGO Duplo Jams: This is another one geared towards toddlers and preschoolers aged 2 – 5. Duplo Jams provides a interactive, musical world  as your child discovers the joy of building. From trains and race cars to zoos and oceans there is bound to be something your child will enjoy!
