Kellogg’s Share Your Breakfast

by Briana Carter on March 9, 2011

GirlEatingBreakfast 300x198 Kelloggs Share Your Breakfast

Do your kids eat a healthy breakfast in the morning? Do YOU? Part of my four year old’s night time routine includes, “I Love You Mommy. See you in the morning. Make me a good breakfast.” She’s always thinking about her next meal! ;)

Kellogg’s has partnered with Action for Healthy Kids to help fight childhood hunger as many children go to school on an empty stomach. Mine only do if they don’t get up early enough to grab something! :) Sadly, one in four children struggle with hunger in the United States. This is a eye opening statistic.

Kellogg’s wants you to share pictures of YOUR breakfast on their website ShareYourBreakfast.com. You can also upload your photo by texting the word SHARE along with your picture or a description of your breakfast to 21534. When you share, Kellogg’s will share one breakfast with a child who needs it. Kellogg’s goal is to share ONE MILLION breakfasts in the 2011-2012 school year.

Expired Peelies on Packages…

by Briana Carter on August 25, 2008

What do you do when you find a really awesome expired peelie on a package? Recently, I found a Buy 2 Rice Krispy and get (1) Free Strawberry Rice Krispy…I was so excited! Especially because Meijer has the buy $10 worth of Kelloggs & Get $10 off a backpack and the Kellogg’s rebate. I peeled it off and it expired 6/30/2008. Excitement gone. I didn’t want to risk it at the cash register.

What do you do when you find expired peelies? Has it happened at the cash register? How is it handled? Annoying, that is for sure! I’m considering writing Kellogg’s AND Meijer!!!
