Over the past few months, I’ve slowly and steadily, starting making a little bit of money off my blogging hobby. Most of these affiliate programs, you have to apply to and wait for them to accept/deny your application. Some are looking for a specific fit for their advertising needs. Don’t worry if you don’t get accepted to all of them.
A learning curve is involved in figuring each affiliate program and website system. Hopefully, these links will help you out. Everything I’ve found is things I have already been promoting or would be promoting anyway. If you find a site you like, just browse around and see if they offer an affiliate program or you can do a google search for “X company affiliate.” Some companies like Dine Without Whine, DIY Themes, and others offer their own “in house” affiliate programs. It is harder to get a check from these types of companies because you have to hit a certain threshold to get payment. Whereas, with the affiliate companies you have many companies to choose from to earn.
Adsense - I’ve yet to receive a check but slowly and steadily but it is one old reliable that most people use.
Logical Media & MySavings - These are my best money makers. For one, many of the campaigns they offer are ones that I would offer anyway because they are freebies/good survey places/etc. Logical Media is currently offering a $25 sign up bonus for just signing up!
Brandcaster - Another one of my favorites! You can earn a few pennies for every printable coupon your reader’s print!
Linkshare – Many advertisers to choose from. Some give you special coupon codes and email you about their special offers. Many many advertisers to choose from! Click here to become a LinkShare Affiliate!
Commission Junction – Many advertisers to choose from. I’ve made a few bucks from this one from things I would already be promoting such as coupons and college saving fund programs.
ShareASale – This site has a wide variety of advertisers. I’ve been looking a little more in depth and have found several that fit with my site.
Chitika – Payout after only $10 via paypal. $50 for a regular check. Similar to Adsense and can be used in conjunction with Adsense. Chitika ads ONLY show up for users who find your website through a search engine. They do not show up for people who directly type in your url.
Any Others I’m missing that you’ve had a good experience with?
