It is a heavy material that will really prevent messes from penetrating through to your child’s shirt. It has a soft terry cloth backing, which would be comfortable on your child’s skin if they are shirtless. The pocket is HUGE. So Huge that we were joking around and put S’s snacks in it! It also STAYED on. She couldn’t get it off by herself. Usually, she can just pull it off and then it is all over. She couldn’t do that with this one!! Ha ha!
