Are you ready for some football???? I am! We are big Colts/Manning fans in this household! Our NOT a Bargain, is Colts Season Ticket Holders. This is the first year in the new stadium, Lucas Oil Stadium. Can I say, I have mixed feelings?!?! I hate that we are paying more money for a worse view (still okay but not as good as before), congestion on escalators, confusion in abundance, and this one is petty but for $750 MILLION couldn’t they budget in auto flush toilets & sinks? Positive things are: Wider aisles, cup holders, actual seats instead of benches, and more concession/restroom facilities.

This is probably what cost so much and it is cool! But I wonder how many games they will actually have it open for? Maybe the first month? ++++++++

See all the congestion by the escalators? ————

Crazy, 2 escalators for everyone, only 2 people wide. ——— BTW, no stairs going to the second level. Only elevators but no one seemed to know where those were. It took me 20 minutes to find someone who could tell me how to get to the Emergency Exits…and I asked 4 people in yellow jackets. I’m paranoid like that but I did figure out you can go down the stairs and it will take you to the street. No entry back in.

magazine Not a Bargain: Paying more than newstand price for magazine subscription

I’m not sure who they are trying to fool or if this was a misprint. It has to be a misprint, right? Usually, I love Mypoints. I usually just click on the emails to get my 5 points and never buy any of the products. This happened to capture my eye, though. $74.99 for 12 issues of People magazine. This works out to $6 an issue. Isn’t it only $4.99 if you buy it straight off the newstand? Not a bargain! Make sure you always price check!

NOT a Bargain

milanflyswatter NOT a Bargain

I recently saw this flyswatter, designed after the streets in Milan, in the Rachel Ray Magazine. $15. For a FLYSWATTER. Something you are going to kill bugs with. Something you get nasty bug guts on. I really think that my FREE one I picked up at the county fair will suffice. Even a rolled up magazine or newspaper is fine in my book. My husband and I had a good giggle over this one last night. We both kind of shook our heads. So I googled it today and lo and behold it is SOLD out and there are blogs encouraging people to buy it. I guess for the person who has everything, a designer fly swatter is the newest, greatest accessory!
