If you're new here, you may want to have these bargains delivered right to your email or subscribe via RSS feed. If you are new to couponing, check out my series the "15 days of Couponing." Thanks for visiting!

Little Spirit: Christmas in New York begins with two younger sisters giving “helpful” directions to a friendly cabby.  He then tells them a story about about a boy, Leo, who moves to the city with his family. A boy who was nervous about not having any friends in his new home. Close to Christmas, Leo loses his precious dog, Ramona in Central Park. He is devastated. Then a magical creature named Little Spirit appears to take him on a quest to find Ramona.

During this adventure, Leo takes in the sites of the city and meets people from all walks of life. The city doesn’t seem so scary and seems more like home after his adventure and he finds the true meaning of Christmas.

This is a great holiday movie to get your children geared up for the holiday season! Plus, parents will enjoy the voices of Danny DeVito, Lucy Liu, Brian Williams, and music by Faith Hill.

I have (3) copies of the Little Spirit: Christmas in New York to give to 3 lucky Bargain Briana readers!

What’s awesome about the Animal Planet is they actually teach you about the animals and here’s another great DVD to explore a beautiful and just massive creature: Africa’s Elephant Kingdom and Queen of the Elephants. When we visited our local zoo this past summer, my kids were enthralled with the Elephants. They particularly liked the “Baby” elephant who was still massive!

Cross two countries on two unbelievable journeys with the Africa’s Elephant Kingdom and Queen of the Elephants (Animal Planet). In the first story, Africa’s Elephant Kingdom, the largest land mammal and its family struggle to find food, water, and a place to build their family. They will travel across vast lands and experience joy and sorrow.

In Queen of the Elephants, conservationists and activists Mark Shand and Parbarti Barua draw awareness to the elephant’s plights while riding on the backs of elephants for over 1,300 miles. Parbarti Barua is the only femal mahout, which is an elephant trainer/handler in India. They will travel across Indiato bring awareness to the elephant’s plight as the human population in India grows.

This educational and interesting DVD explores the way the elephant species is barely maintaining in a world where they are threatened. Are you interested in viewing this DVD? Sounds fun, right?

I have (3) copies of Africa’s Elephant Kingdom and Queen of the Elephants (Animal Planet) to give away to (3) Lucky Readers!

125x125blogtalkradio-copy1

Bargain Talk with Briana has a new time slot – 10pm EST on Wednesdays. Even though, I’m a late nighter, even 11pm was a little late for me! After the show, I was so keyed up, I’m not sure what time I went to bed. Even later than normal is all I know.

Last week’s debut show went well. I was a little nervous.  Are we suppose to admit things like that? However, my loyal listeners/readers were very supportive and I truly appreciate their encouragement. I’m sure as time goes on I will learn what does and does not work for me! Like trying to use chat while doing a radio show solo does not work for me.

If you missed last week’s show, you can still listen to the archived show. As well as get links to all the great sites I mentioned during the show. Bloggers who used chat during the show were also given some link love!

I also review Biofusions Organic Shampoo/Conditioner after getting it free after rebate in August. Check out my reviews and leave some comments on your experiences with those products!

Which one did I love? Which one did I hate? The only way to find out is to check it OUT at Reviews by Bargain Briana.

I was a winner!

August 16, 2008

Recently I was a winner of a adorable bib by Daisy Layne Boutique promoted by Three Peas in a Pod. To be honest, I just entered because I wanted to win something. I didn’t think a bib could be that special. However, I was pleasantly surprised that it REALLY was a better bib. It [...]
