{Now Closed} Walgreens Wellness Basket ($100 Value) Giveaway

by Briana Carter on December 7, 2011

walgreens logo1 {Now Closed} Walgreens Wellness Basket ($100 Value) GiveawayIt’s that season again – Flu Season! It normally coincides with the busiest travel period of the year. According to the Walgreens Flu Impact report, the flu interrupted more than 3 million vacationers last season.

Not only does Flu Season affect fun trips but it also affects day to day life! Last Flu Season, there were over 100 million work days lost due to flu-related illnesses and around 32 million school days missed. This is quite a bit of time! In our house, it seems like if one person gets it, it often spreads around to the rest of the household.

Walgreens 300x225 {Now Closed} Walgreens Wellness Basket ($100 Value) GiveawayTo keep you and your children healthy, Walgreens is giving one lucky Bargain Briana a Walgreens Wellness Basket. It has around a $100 worth of Walgreens goodies including cough drops, vitamins,  thermometer, hand sanitizer, and a Walgreens Flu Shot gift card.

This will come in handy already because last night I started to feel that tickle in my throat as I was **trying** to go to sleep. Unfortunately, moms don’t usually get days “off,” so I usually just suffer through it! I’m sure many of you do as well!

Okay, so let’s discuss the giveaway details…

I’m a Facebook “Liker”!! Unfortunately, most of this stuff would probably go to the man of the house since he just gets so much sicker than Mommy. Lol!

I’m typically down 2 days when I get the flu. If it goes through each of my 4 kids, we could be looking at a week & a half.
  • Lori H - December 07, 2011 @ 10:53 am 22
We usually don’t get the real flu. It’s usually bronchitis, ear infections, strep, viruses….that get us. I usually miss about 5 days in the winter with my kids sick. It’s usually my youngest. When she gets sick, she’ll spike a high fever for days. :(
