Joey Totes are a great inclusion in Earth Month Giveaways and a wonderful Mother’s Day Gift idea. Using reusable bags is a small way we can all make a significant difference.

I went to the Totes website.. I am amazed out how durable they are and also washable… I have a few store reuseable bags but I am scared to wash them.. they dont seem like that would be washable.. and I dont put much in them can wise because I am terrified of ripping them.. I would love to win a set of these totes.

    Thanks,
    Paige

I like that, in the FAQs, they specify that the totes are manufactured ethically, and pay a fair wage. That’s a huge plus in my book.

I like that the company donates a percentage of profits to support the efforts of SOS Children’s Villages, a charity dedicated to helping orphaned and abandoned children. Can’t beat that for a cause!

I love the fact that these bags replace the plastic single use bags. I think it’s very important to keep plastic store bags out of our landfills.

I like that they are washable! I agree with Paige- some of my store bought ones seem so flimsy- I am just waiting for them to rip if I put anything really heavy in them

I went to their website even before you did this giveaway. I’m planning to buy some! It is an amazing idea! They seem very durable and will fit well inside a purse or whatever!

I love that more than one bag fits in a pouch and that they are washable. I could use these on a daily basis. They would also be great for stashing in your suitcase when you travel for those extra purchases you pick up on vacation!

Best feature – I could fit these in my purse/workbag and not worry about forgetting my re-usable bag!!

The durability and the fact the bags can be washed are the best features for me. Other bags don’t do well after being cleaned which is important since they become soiled with use.

My favorite feature is that they’re responsible. I’ve started carrying a reusable bag in my purse and using it almost daily; it feels good to know how many plastic bags I’ve avoided.

Your review made me smile when you wrote “whip out my reusable bag”. I can just see it! What a great idea to make the pouch hold more than one bag.
  • Carol W. - April 27, 2009 @ 7:20 pm 21
I’m so impressed that you had no trouble getting the totes back into the pouch. That would definitely be a concern of mine!

I love that it can be stored small enough to fit in a purse or other bag! I sometimes forget to take my reusable bags into the store with me and this would be handy for me!
