With four active kids, it seems as if dirt is just naturally attracted to their clothes. Especially, one little girl, who I think just rolls in the mud some days for the fun of it.  Of course, when I hear there is new technology in stain fightin’, I’m all ears.

I’m sure my mom said the same of me when I was growing up. Actually, I’m positive she said this about me. In fact, I remember a pair of really nice jeans my grandma bought me from the local Bee’s Boutique, which was a nice children’ shop in my town. I did a number on the knees of those jeans with grass stains.

Now, watch this retro Wisk commercial. I’m not sure exactly what era this was but I remember the phrase “Ring Around the Collar.” Who wears white collar shirts nowadays, anyway!

As with everything, stain fighting has evolved. Wisk is introducing a new enhanced Stain Spectrum Technology, which will bring science to stain-fighting. This new technology will help you tackle a full range of stains ranging from oils to proteins. Sounds great, right?

Watch this present day video to get pumped up about the new Wisk product!

There are too many stains to list but most will fall into three major groups:

  • Carbohydrates – example: milk chocolate
  • Proteins – example: grass (as I told you about my stains above!)
  • Oils – example: peanut butter

Other groups include:

  • Bio – example: blood
  • Bleachable – example: coffee
  • Particulate – example: dirt
  • Synthetic – example: ink

What kind of stains do you have most of in your household?

My friend Andrea would probably guess blood is the most often stain I encounter. We visited her home a couple of weeks ago and I think the kids really put a dent into her band-aid stockpile!
