Kids, especially my kids, are LOVING Zhu Zhu pets. If you haven’t seen the commercials yet, these are going to be the HOT Holiday toy this year! Just my prediction from my children’s repsonse and all the posts and comments on my review and youtube video!
While we have the entire play set, my littlest one who is just three is really wanting the bed for her baby hamster!

We have buried five — no six — hamsters. We have a small yard, and since each of the hamsters has to have a brick gravestone, it’s getting a little dangerous to play back there. Much to my daughter’s displeasure, we’re taking a break from being pet owners. This toy might lessen the daily whining for a new hamster.

My sons have been begging us for a real hamster for quite a while. We are not ready to take on the responsibility of a live one so the Zhu Zhu pets seem to be an ideal compromise!
I would love to win this giveaway because this is the one toy that BOTH my kids are super excited about. They yell at each other to come and see the commercial if the other one is in another room and they just giggle when they see it. The reason I’ve been given for getting it is since we won’t let them have a pet of their own (we already have a cat and dog) ” this would be the perfect toy for us so we can have a ‘pet’ of our own”. They are easier to care for, no food, no poop, no smell, hahaha. Anyway, I would love to be able to surprise them with this cute toy. THANKS!!
We really wanted to get a hamster for a class pet this year but due to children with allergies in the building we could not get one. This would be super-fun for my preschoolers!

I would want one for my 4 year-old daughter. The first time she saw the commercial she came running to me to come see it. She wanted it. I dawdled because I know we have DVR and rewind. She actually cried when the commercial was over and I hadn’t seen it. I’ve never seen her react like that to anything on TV before. I showed her I could rewind the TV and we watched the commercial together. I told her she should add it to her birthday list. Her birthday is in October so I’m on the case. She’s already asked for a real hamster before and we turned her down because we have big dogs and it could lead to disaster. Now I’m anxious about whether we’ll be able to find Zhu zhu pets in the stores.

Ever since they appeared on tv, my kids have been begging for one. When it’s dinner, they come up to us, screaming “WE WANT A ZHU ZHU PET! WE WAAAANT ONE!” I tried to buy some for them, but they’re all stocked out and Amazon’s prices are overlooked. So I went researching for a raffle or something that and I ended up on this site. I can’t promise that I’ll tweet about it because I’m not that used to the computer and its wonders, but I’ll pray that we win and the Zhu Zhu Scream Headaches will go away with the playset!

My son absolutely loves animals. He carries his baby animals around with him all day, and sleeps with a pile of them at night. He saw these on tv and right away wanted them, and I knew right there I was getting him them for Christmas. Very saddened to find out they’re so hard to get :(.

This is the ultimate pet! To sum up my story; It doesn’t poop, pee, or run on it’s wheel in the middle of the night. No waking up kids, or terrors or frights! It won’t get loose in my house, which is good…because hamsters are still pretty much…..a mouse! Kiss them and cuddle and play on the floor, no running away, no trips to the pet store! No chewing up the house, or nibbling on walls, no smell, yet, they still have the cute little clear balls, (the type that roll on the floor, people!,) to run and scamper like a real pet, but a lot of neat perks with no trips to the vet! We’ve hunted through Walmart, and raided Amazon.com, it seems Zhu Zhu pets are here, then they are gone! We cannot find one on a shelf, so will you please be our Birthday Zhu Zhu pet elf? My daughter shall turn nine on September fifteen, and a Zhu Zhu pet set would really be the rocking thing! My sweet little Texas grand daughter wants this awesome pet. As a long distance Nana I love to send her little goodies via Mail. This pet would be wonderful to send to her. Her Mom would appreciate the fact it does eat real food or leave real poop.
This seems like a toy that would be easy enough for my two girls to SHARE! There’s something for each of them, they can trade off, and have fun TOGETHER too. This would be so cool!
I’ve searched every toy store in town and these things are never on the shelves. My daughter has been begging for one for months now. She got one of the accessories for her birthday, but still no pets to be found. To have one would make her the happiest kid in the world.

I have 6 nieces and nephews (plus one due to arrive on Monday.) I work very hard to try to find them great gifts. I try to find gifts that the kids things will enjoy as well as gifts that won’t irritate their parents. I try to find gifts that are both educational and fun. Generally, their parents love the gifts I choose but not so much the kids. (Keep in mind I do ask the children who are old enough what they want.) For once, I would really like to get a gift that I think my nieces in particular would love. I think this is that opportunity. Due to severe allergies, the only pet the nieces (or the girls as we like to call them) have been able to get is a fish. It is a very nice fish but it is still only a fish. This could allow them to interact with a pet-like toy and not irritate their allergies. Plus, it would make them happy.

A few weeks ago we found a real guinea pig in our garden. He was sooo cute. We took him in and got him a cage, little house and everything the little guy needed. In the meantime, I posted memos around the neighbourhood looking for the pets owners – I figured that he must have gotten loose and that someone was missing him. My four year old son loves animals and this little guinea pig was adorable. We explained to my son that we were trying to find the little guys family and help him get home. After 2 1/2 weeks someone came forward – they lived in a nearby neighbourhood and the pet had travelled quite a ways. I think a Zhu Zhu pet would be a great replacement for my son as we travel quite often. Thanks!
