NOW CLOSED: 15 Days of Holiday Giveaways: $15 Save a Lot Gift Card

December 8, 2009 By: Briana Carter88 Comments

save a lot

This giveaways is part of a series of many to come in the 15 Days of Holiday Giveaways at Bargain Briana!

Recently, Save a Lot sent me a gift card to try out their store. I was able to get several really hot deals by printing out coupons from the Save a Lot website beforehand. I found Rice Krispies Cereal for $0.99 after coupon. Save a Lot carries manufacturer's products as well as their own private label. They do accept manufacturer's coupons which is an added bonus to their lower prices. You can also print out a $5 off $20 purchase coupon, which unfortunately I wasn't able to print before my shopping trip but it looks like it is working now. Save a Lot has recently announced their "Feed a Family of Four for Under $15" holiday special, which includes Sugardale Ham, sweet potatoes, Fresh Express Garden Salad Mix, Mrs. Smith's Pie, and more. Overall my experience was pleasant. The store wasn't too crowded, the cashier was very pleasant, and the store was clean. Mostly for me, it is a kind of out of the way location for me to shop at on a regular basis. However, I think you can save quite a bit if you watch their sales and use your coupons if you have a location near you. Do you have a Save a Lot location near you? If so, enter below to win one $15 gift card for Save a Lot Food Stores.

Be sure to check out the Bargain Briana Holiday Gift Guide for more fantastic and unique holiday gift ideas! This list will be updated throughout the coming weeks so check back for ideas and coupon codes.

Fortunately for me there is a SaveALot in my neighborhood! So I could certainly put this to good use buying food for the holidays. I have to carry deviled eggs for our office party, so I would use this to get the eggs and everything else needed to make deviled eggs.
