{Back to School With Lice?} Fairy Tales Hair Care Rosemary Repel Collection Giveaway

August 20, 2013 by Briana Carter

We are going to talk about a taboo subject – Lice. There is nothing to be embarrassed about because anyone can get lice. The problem because an issue when people don’t inform others that their child could have been exposed to lice. People will appreciate that you are proactive and letting them know that your child had lice on X date when Susie was playing with Jane so they can keep their eyes out and if their child starts itching, they can get right on treating the infestation. Really, they will appreciate it especially when they noticed that little Susie has been itching her head and they just thought it was dry scalp.

Parents need not fear the dreadful note home from school announcing an outbreak of head lice anymore.  With a little bit of prevention, parents can avoid a full blown lice outbreak. A recent survey by Fairy Tales Hair Care found that while 93% of parents teach their children the basic prevention tips such as not sharing hats, helmets, brushes and  combs, only 56% of parents do a weekly head check.

Are you part of the 56% that does regular head checks? My youngest daughter usually gets annoyed with me but I do a courtesy check of her hair almost every time she cuddles with me because she is in the age range of children that are most likely to get lice – Elementary and pre-school aged children. Which should not surprise most of us because they are the kids that are hanging all over each other and share hats and headbands and such without thinking twice about it. I recently saw some pictures of kids on a school field trip and I cringed seeing the girls hair touching while posing for a picture. So it shouldn’t surprise anyone that the majority of the 12 million cases reported annually are within that age group.

There is a product you can use to help prevent lice naturally. Fairy Tales Hair Care Rosemary Repel Collection are hair products infused with organic rosemary and citronella oils, which are proven to effectively and safely repel lice. No harsh chemicals! Right now when you can save 15% on your order at  FairyTalesHairCare.com. Just use coupon code BTS13.

Use the Rosemary Repel shampoo, cream conditioner, leave in conditioning spray, styling gel, or hair spray to help effectively prevent lice. Plus, it smells good! I’ve also noticed that I don’t have to use conditioner on Sofia with this shampoo as I’m able to brush through her hair easily after just the shampooing! Did I mention it smells so good?

To assist parents, Fairy Tales Hair Care, makers of the bestselling Rosemary Repel lice prevention products, created a short video showing where to look, how to spot a louse or a nit and easy tips to learn the best method for combing during an outbreak.   This video and additional tips on lice prevention and removal using chemical free products such as Rosemary Repel and Lice Good-Bye, visit www.fairytaleshaircare.com and join the conversation at Facebook  and on twitter @FairyTalesInc.

I have 5 kids, 4 in school. We have an on going battle with lice because of the lack of concern from the neighbor. Our girls are friends. I am diligent in checking and treating, she is not. I NEED these products! Or the neighbors to move!!
