Finding Coupon Inserts - Learn to Coupon 101

When you get started couponing you have to first know Where To Find Coupon Inserts.  You cannot coupon without coupons themselves, and your weekly coupon inserts are the best place to find them.  While some places are easy to find, others may take some work, but you will be able to begin your coupon journey with ease.

Where To Find Coupon Inserts

Weekly Sunday Newspaper: Your best bet for weekly coupon inserts is to contact your local and state newspapers to see which inserts they carry.  Redplum, SmartSource and Proctor & Gamble are the top three inserts to ask for.  Proctor & Gamble only comes out once per month, but the others are released almost every week. Just enter your zip code below to find a discounted newspaper subscription now!

Local Library:  If your local library doesn’t have a box out for coupon donations yet, you can inquire and see if you can set one up.  Many libraries will allow patrons to have a box in a designated area to drop off coupons each week.  You can grab from the stack as you need, or donate what you won’t use.

Recycling Center:  This is one of the best places to find full coupon inserts on a regular basis, but you must make sure it isn’t against the rules to take them.  Many recycling centers don’t allow you to take anything out of the bins.  Call ahead and ask, or watch for signs posted near the bins telling you if there are restrictions.

Friends & Family:  Probably the best place to get extra coupon inserts is to ask your friends and family.  If they do not coupon they will likely be more than happy to share inserts with you.  Ask out of town friends and family as well, and offer to send money for postage each month so they can send an envelope of them to you regularly.

Local Coupon Groups:  Check your local community for local coupon swap groups that may have meet ups to share coupons with each other. Leave us a comment and let us know if you have a favorite swapping group!

Print Coupons Online:  While not a coupon insert, there are a multitude of coupons available to print online.  Whether you print through our coupon database, or direct on brand websites this is a great way to save money easily.  Remember that you are only allowed to print 2-3 copies of each coupon from each computer.  Photocopying coupons is fraud and can be prosecutable in many areas.

Knowing where to find coupon inserts is really simple when you think about what is available in your own community.  From weekly newspapers or your local friends and family you will find tons of options to grab coupon inserts with ease.
