Sex and the City 2: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack was released just a few weeks ago. I probably won’t see this movie until it comes out on DVD because I’m cheap like that. However, I’ve been able to get my fix through the soundtrack. Though, I’m never a huge fan to listen to Soundtracks on their own. The tracks usually work much better with the movie.
This soundtrack features songs by Jennifer Hudson, CeeLo, Dido, Liza Minnelli, and Alicia Keys. You will also hear Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon performing the Helen Reddy classic “I Am Woman.” The first song and theme song Rapture with Alicia Keys is a mix of a James Bond Theme song with the traditional Sex and the City theme song mixed in.

I saw the movie the day it came out. It was good — not quite as exciting as the first one, and definitely not as wonderful as the show, but still good. It was funny and fun, and the music was great!

Yeah! I usually love movie soundtracks but I’m too cheap to buy them. I may go watch this movie at the theater today. Took the day off and AMC theaters have all movies for $5 M-Th. Yeah!
