How to Make Your Own UnCrustables Sandwiches

October 6, 2010 By: Briana Carter5 Comments

Save a ton of money and use the freshest ingredients by making your OWN Uncrustable Sandwiches! These are so easy to make even I can do it!

First you will need the Cut n Seal from Pampered Chef. You can usually find these on Ebay or Amazon.

The Cut n Seal from Pampered Chef allows me to make our own crust free sandwiches. The kid’s favorite is peanut butter with jelly but you can use this tool to make any type of sandwich. It makes it a little more fun for the little ones and you can freeze these and use as needed! Stock up on bread when at a low price and make a batch of these to save time and money.

To save time, I like to go ahead and make up enough sandwiches and “sides” for the week. Then the kids can pick and choose which items they want for the day, which allows them a little control over their lunches. Items not needing refrigerated such as crackers, chips, snack cookies can be pre-bagged by you for your own convenience.

You can even save your crusts for toppings in casseroles or make your own croutons if you cut them just right!

After you make your uncrustables how do you freeze them??? I was thinking freezing them on a cookie sheet and then place in container once they were completely frozen? But not sure what is the best way to do it???
    Great idea though. Thanks

Avon also has “pocket pie molds” in the shape of a heart and a star that will cut and seal the same way! http://shop.avon.com/shop/product.aspx?pf_id=39918 My kids love when I use these for their sandwiches :) You can get both for only $10 and it is so worth it.
