Introducing My Coupon Database

April 19, 2010 By: Briana Carter11 Comments

I’m so excited to finally be able to share this awesome feature I’m adding to my website. Over the past months, Andrea, Crystal, Marcy, and I have been working on a coupon database made by bloggers for bloggers, called My Coupon Database, to use as a resource on their own sites. Not only is this an awesome resource for YOU (my readers) but it is also saving me so much time on my coupon match ups on this site – allowing me to find all the deals and point to you all the coupons for that deal! I’ll tell you more about that in a bit….

Benefits for Users aka My Lovely Readers

So for readers, this means you now don’t have to leave BargainBriana.com to find coupons you may need for yourself! Simply bookmark the Coupon Database page and you can search anytime for a particular coupon you may personally need! Sometimes you may need an item that isn’t on one of my coupon match up listings as the item may not be on sale. Now you can simply search the database to find the insert coupon, ecoupon or the printable coupon for your item!

This has also allowed me to easily insert the expiration date in the deals because I know some of you want to know this from a recent site survey.

You can rest assured that the latest coupons are in the database as we have dedicated staff to ensure coupon accuracy and timeliness. Printable coupons are updated at least daily if not multiple times per day ensuring up to date information.

Other benefits for users:

  • Multiple Search Functionality: I can search for charmin, pampers, pillsbury all in one search. Simply add a comma (no space) to search for multiple items.
  • Smart Search Functionality: Results will be returned based on all keywords entered, which equates to easier searches for you!

Benefits for Fellow Bloggers

If you are a blogger, you can host this database on your own site using your own coupon affiliate links! The coupon database is a great resource for your readers/users and will enhance your site as well as valuable blogging tools for you as well.

If you do weekly match ups, you WILL want this! Why? My absolute favorite part of this database, besides offering a useful resource to my readers, is the “Click & Paste” coupon option for logged in users in a easy to read blogging format. This is not available from any other coupon database.

Why is this awesome? No more cutting & pasting of coupons or even re-writing of the coupons! Seriously, this has made me so lazy doing my deals. I simply click the coupon, then I click Ctrl-V to paste into my deals. Printable coupons are formatted in html format so this saves even more time. I can’t tell you how much I love this feature!

Plus, this coupon database is YOUR coupon database, hence the name My Coupon Database. It is not branded to anyone but you. All branding on the My Coupon Database site goes back to your own personal site. Plus, no need to worry about how many searches you make as the database is a fixed cost no matter if you do 500,000 coupon searches in a month. There is also a free option available if you want to take it for a spin to see how your readers like it.

So many other features and a complete explanation of the feature as well as sign up information is available at My Coupon Database!

Is there any technical support for this database? As of right now I haven’t been able to log in for the past 3 days. I need to make changes my account and cant!
When I click on ‘login’ a little window appears with a rotating graphic. That thing just sits there turning and turning and turning and no form or field appears for me to enter my information.
Can you put a regular login form on your site? Or supply a technical support forum that doesnt require logging in?
    Thanks.

I have to agree…LOVE IT! Especially the Copy/paste feature for bloggers. Made my Publix match-ups 3 times faster. Thank you ladies for all your hard work and providing a user friendly/blogger friendly coupon database.

If you get level 3, will my readers be able to use the click and paste option or just me?

    Thanks
