Are you a fan of Peeps? Are you looking for fun Thanksgiving recipes or mini Peeps recipes? If so, this is one fun recipe you simply have to try. Peeps aren’t just for Easter anymore. Get your hands on some chocolate Peeps and use them to make these awesome Mini Peeps Turkeys as well.
These Mini Peeps Turkeys are easier to make than you’d imagine, though they do take a little time since you have to refrigerate them in between steps. I would recommend making them the night before if you are heading to a Thanksgiving get-together early in the day (you don’t want to be rushing at the last minute), or just make them first thing in the morning if you are going to Thanksgiving later in the evening. That way, you have plenty of time to get them just right and let them set before you have to transport them.
To make this fun Thanksgiving treat, start by laying out chocolate wafers, then add the candy corn for the tail and add the peep to the top. Carefully add each of the features one at a time, placing the Mini Peeps Turkeys in the fridge in between each feature to allow the Peeps to set. If you’re feeling really creative, you can even use different colors of baking chips to give the turkeys funny features such as mustaches, sunglasses or hair. While I love the look of the original Mini Peeps Turkeys, the sky is really the limit when it comes to your creativity!
If you are looking for Fun Thanksgiving Recipes to show off at your family’s get-together this Thanksgiving, then look no further. These Mini Peeps Turkeys are incredibly cute, sweet and fun–perfect for Thanksgiving. Your family will be so impressed.
