Not everyone uses a lot of hair care products, but for the families with a lot of girls, or women who spend time on their hair each day this organization tip is needed. Organizing Your Hair Care Products is something that many people actually have to think about. There are items you use regularly like shampoo and conditioner in the shower, but then there are all of the heat products, gels, mousses, curling irons and more to think about. Getting your bathroom organized includes managing your hair care product organization too.
Organizing Your Hair Care Products
Purge Old & Unused Items: We often buy that one gel or mousse thinking it will work perfectly, then end up disappointed and shoving it into the drawer. Go through your hair care products and organize first by ridding yourself of items that are old or never used.
Organize By Use: Items that are to be used in the shower like leave in conditioners and hair masks should be stored appropriately in a basket or shower caddy in the shower. Items to be used only when heat will be used on your hair (curling wands, hair dryer, etc.) should be stored with those products. General hair spray, mousse and gel that would be used daily should be in handy reach on your counter or in a drawer.
Store Hair Accessories Within Easy Reach: Most women have at least a few hair accessories in their bathroom right now. Ponytail holders, headbands and bobby pins can easily be stored in a drawer, or a simple makeup bag that you can grab and use as needed. A small towel rack hung above your bathroom counter can be used as a great place to hang headbands when not in use.
Use Wall Storage For Hair Dryers, etc.: If you have a hair dryer, curling wand, straightener or other hair care item that is used regularly, there are great simple wall units that can easily be stored to house those items with ease. This helps keep cords in control, and products within reach.
A few simple tip to organizing your hair care products can make a world of difference. Instead of having a counter cluttered with product, and a drawer stuffed with hair tools you can have a streamlined routine. Organizing your bathroom is made easier when you add these simple hair care organization tips into the mix this week.
