Instead of the Diaper Genie type contraptions and their expensive refill bags, I use plastic grocery sacks. A double knot after even the worst smelling diapers keeps the smell from permeating the nursery. No more changing the huge, heavy bags of 20 smelly diapers. Even though I use reusable grocery sacks, I still have hundreds saved from before switching over, and still get a few of them depending on if I forget to use my reusable sacks.

I like to have chamomille available. It is great tea for babies with colic. It was a lifesaver for me with my colicky 3 month old.

My frugal tip is to sew! Nursery bedding sets are so overpriced – I just made the cutest quilt that will fit a toddler bed instead of the baby comforter that you can't use when they're babies and then won't fit on the toddler bed!

You can get great baby clothes on the cheap by hitting yard sales and checking out the listings on ebay. Babies outgrow things so fast that often you can find brand new clothes for a fraction of the cost!

My frugal tip is to get a diaper champ rather than a diaper genie/decor because the diaper champ keeps out the bad smells but doesn't require the expensive refills.. you can use any garbage bag!

I have found great bargains at Walgreens on Huggies Diaper Wipes over the past four months. I have never paid more the .25 per 80-100 count boxes using a combination of mfg. coupons, instore flyer coupon, and register rewards.

I've saved a bundle. I love this little gift pack. I would really put it to good use.

My family loves chocolate so for Valentines Day- I bake a chocolate cake with the $0.15 cake mix that I got from the grocery store, I frost it with the $0.25 frosting from Walgreens, I cut my own heart stencil for the cake from the cheap paper purchased from Staples, I use red sprinkes for the heart that I got on clearance after X-mas from Walmart, serve it with the hot chocolate sample I got free in the mail along with the chocolate bar I snagged for $0.12 this week at Target- all served with love- which is always free!

Rather than spend a lot on redecorating the nursery, we put a fresh coat of paint on the walls and used decals to create a mural-like jungle scene.

I don't have kids, but I have had to buy a lot of shower gifts lately. I have been combining store coupons with manu. coupons to get great deals on Johnson's baby products and wipes. I usually bundle those together in a cheap basket or other container and give that as a baby shower gift.

My nursery frugal tip is to look at Craigslist and check out mommy deals web sites. Many items are in very good shape and gently used from Craigslist (from such places as Potty Barn) or you can buy the nursery stuff greatly discounted when you know about sales going on through mommy deals web sites.
