Walgreens $50 Giveaway + Review

June 7, 2011 By: Briana Carter151 Comments

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Many of you are turning to private labels instead of the national brands. Many stores are responding to this desire by consumers and creating and maintaining additional private label brands. Did you know Walgreens has their own line of branded health and wellness products?

With Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products, you are able to save money without sacrificing quality or trust or spend a ton of time hunting down coupons. All of Walgreens branded products have a 100% satisfaction guarantee and are pharmacist recommended.  When comparing ingredients of these items, you will find most contain the exact same active ingredients as the national brand.

Through Social Spark, Walgreens sent me a Walgreens Brand Oil-Free Acne Wash, which is comparable to a national brand. I’ve never tried this particular Walgreens item in the past. The Walgreens Oil-Free Acne Wash is very comparable to the national brand without the huge price tag!

For comparison, Walgreens Brand Oil-Free Acne Wash is just $4.99 for 6 oz, while the national brand is $6.49 for 6 oz. This is a savings of $1.50 without using any coupons or promotions.  Plus, the active ingredient is exactly the same in both Oil-Free Acne Washes –  Salicylic Acid, 2% Acne Treatment.

This is just one of the many Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products available. You will find a wide variety of items like allergy relief, cold & cough relief, pain relief & sleep aids, digestive relief, and vitamins and supplements. Remember, Walgreens is standing behind these products with a 100% satisfaction guarantee.  As a mom, I love that they stand behind their products.

How would you like to win a $50 Walgreens Gift Card? Twenty winners across the participating blogs will win! See complete contest rules here.

Here’s How to Enter:

My favorite Walgreens brand health and wellness product is their Finest Natural Fish, Flax, and Borage Oils Dietary Supplement softgels. My son is on the autism spectrum and we have found having him take these soft gels in the morning when he wakes up and in the evening before bed helps him control his need to “stim.” Stimming are things like pacing while flapping his hands, twirling in place, or vocal sounds like hissing.

He has been taking these softgels for over five years now with no ill effects and all benefit. We wouldn’t go without them! Walgreens Finest Natural combination is well balanced, potent, and a terrific value, especially when offered BOGO!

My favorite Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products is the Walgreens Omeprazole Acid Reducer Tablets. With Walgreens I save money over the name brand with the exact same product

I use all of the store brand meds… Pain relief, cough and cold, allergy… They all work just as well as the name brands!

I like the Intensive Healing Moisturizing Lotion,it is comparable to Gold Bonds. My daughter has psoriasis and it does a lot for her skin. I would buy it over the Gold Bonds anyday. I love to save and since she is only 8 years old, we will need it for a very long time to come. We live in Reno and have very dry summers, I use nothing else.

The Walgreen’s brand allergy medicine is a life saver for my family during Oklahoma Spring. It’s just as good as what we’ve bought for double the money with a Name Brand.

I discovered Walgreens brand products when my kids were little and I needed cough and cold medicine inexpensively. One of my daughters needed nutrition supplements, and the Walgreens brand of chocolate drink (like ensure) was her favorite. Thanks for the contest!!

I hope this is the correct blog to comment on to win the $50 Walgreens giftcard! I have yet to try one of their private label products, but I would also try the acne products. Looks a lot like another name brand that is more $$$! :-)

I most always use the Walgreens brand children’s medicine for my kids. It is MUCH cheaper than name brands and Walgreens has proven to be cheaper in my area than CVS & Walmart. We also buy the Walgreens toothbrushes to use when we go on vacation.

I’d try the Walgreens Instant Digital Ear Thermometer. Our thermometer bit the dust and I’ve been looking for a new one that’s reasonably priced.
