Win It!: Cinch Weatherization Door Seal (3 Winners)

November 8, 2012 By: Bargain Briana21 Comments

Stay warm this winter with a Cinch Weatherization Door Seal for your windiest door at home.  In the past my family and I have used blankets to keep our house warm.  We drape these blankets over the railings on our staircases and near our large windows and doors.  We also have thick curtains to help keep warm air inside our home.  While it may not be the most attractive or convenient way to keep our house warm, it does seem to work.  We are looking forward to trying our own Cinch Door Seal. What are some ways that you do-it-yourself to trap warm air in your home?

Local Indianapolis FREE Event:

Learn how to save money on your heating bill with a free hands-on demo and Q&A throughout the fall. Please bring photos of your doors and windows and an overall dimension of your attic space. There will be information on insulation (blown and roll and the differences), caulking (and caulk guns) and an aluminum door seal by Cinch Door Seal. The clinic will take place at Lowe’s 6002 North Rural Street on November 10 & 17 and December 8, 2012 from 11:00AM – 4:00PM.

Each person in attendance will receive a weatherization booklet in addition to the free advice.

Now three lucky BargainBriana readers will have a chance to win a Cinch Weatherization Door Seal of their own!  Choose from colors:  white, silver, or brown.  I chose the brown and am very excited to see how this works out!

got some of these long draft protectors for the windows in after Xmas shopping a few years ago. We put them in the windows sills to protect against the draft. If we have time and get adventurous, we put in the plastic over the windows.

Draft protectors at the back door and the heavy drapes that are black out/weather insulating for the large bay window helps a lot!

My nephew broke the glass on one of the double pane in my back door… I would LOVE to try this out! Anything I can do to help the cold air from getting in until I can afford to replace the door is awesome! :)

What a great idea. This looks so much better than traditional weatherstripping that would cause the door to close wrong and get ripped off.

I use thermal insulated window coverings since we only have single pane glass. I would love to win, we need new weatherstrip on the front door.
